Most of my art has always been gestural in nature and intuitive in intent. Parkinson's Disease has caused a shift in my work in later years. I have become, not necessarily less responsive, but more conceptual and leaning toward the abstract and the color-field. I suppose that is due to my trembling hands being unable to focus on drawing the subject at hand.
